By working with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Overview
These are the terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) under which Psychology Academy Ltd („we“, „us“, „our“, „the company“), a limited company registered in England (company number: 15985726), and whose registered office is at 35 Pitmaston Court, Goodby Road, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B13 8RL, operates.

2. Governing Law
This agreement, along with any disputes, issues, proceedings, or claims of any kind arising from or in connection with this agreement or its formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England. Any legal action or proceeding related to this agreement shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

3. Rescheduling of Sessions
In the event that a tutor is unable to attend a scheduled session, the session will be promptly rescheduled at no additional cost to the student. Every effort will be made to arrange an alternative time that is convenient for both the tutor and the student.

4. Parental or Legal Guardian Consent for Minors
Students under the age of 18 wishing to access our tutoring services must obtain prior written consent from a parent or legal guardian. By requesting or using our services, the student confirms that they have obtained such permission.

5. Late Arrival and Session Timing
If a student arrives late to a scheduled session, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time, in order to respect the time commitments of other students. If the tutor is late, the full duration of the session will commence once the tutor is present and ready to begin the session.

6. Payment Terms
All tutoring sessions and services (including feedback, edits, and proofreading) must be paid for within 24 hours of receiving the session or service.

7. Cancellation Policy
If a session is cancelled by the student with less than 12 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled start time, Psychology Academy Ltd reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to either offer a refund or allow the session to be rescheduled. In such cases, the decision will be made based on individual circumstances and is not guaranteed.

8. Unethical Practices
Psychology Academy Ltd maintains a strict policy against any form of unethical practice, including but not limited to plagiarism, academic misconduct, or the infringement of intellectual property rights. The company does not condone actions that undermine academic integrity or violate ethical standards.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the services of any student found to have engaged in, facilitated, or requested such unethical behaviour. This includes, but is not limited to, activities that involve academic dishonesty or actions that compromise the integrity of our services.

At no time will any user, or prospective user, be subject to unfair treatment, discrimination, or detriment based on any protected characteristic. We are dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities for all and promoting a supportive and non-discriminatory environment.

10. Termination of Tuition
Either party may terminate the tuition agreement with immediate effect, subject to providing written notice. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms regarding cancellation and absence will remain in effect.
